How cute is this Patriotic inspired fruit tray. 🍓🫐🍌
It’s finally May and Memorial Day, 4th of July and backyard barbecues are just around the corner. Growing up in Texas I have such sentimental memories of summer, and it just brings me so much joy to share those memories with my own children now.
I know when attending a barbecue, I always want to make something cute, but easy. This patriotic inspired fruit tray makes a statement without being too difficult or expensive. Plus fruit is a great way to have a “treat” without eating too much sugar. You could of course serve with a side of whipped cream or chocolate, if you’d like to make it more indulgent.
My Patriotic Fruit Tray Recipe
My mix of items for a patriotic inspired fruit tray are listed below:
One container of strawberries
One 6oz container of blueberries
1 banana
A couple ounces of white cheese
Corn chips of choice.
If strawberries aren’t your favorite, you can substitute the red rows for cherries or raspberries, dried berries, maraschino cherries (if you really want to make a splash), watermelon or anything you please. You could also use a bigger cutting board or try and do more rows, if you’re planning to share it with a lot of guests.

The cutting boards I have are from Walmart, and I’m linking the star cookie cutters as well.
