My kids are always begging me to make smores. Nevertheless, when it’s the middle of summer, I will not be the one roasting marshmallows over an outdoor fire! I must preface this by saying, I do own an indoor roaster. I think the indoor roasters are darling and I’ve shared about it here on Instagram. But today’s idea is something much more ingenious. This easy indoor s’mores recipe is like REALLY EASY, no roaster required.
Two words: marshmallow fluff
Maybe you’ve already done this, and I’m late to the game, but I was randomly watching a video awhile back about S’mores and the idea hit me like a ton of bricks. Just use marshmallow fluff. It’s literally melted marshmallows in a jar.
You can now have s’mores ANY time of the year and they are simply delicious! All you do is take ooey gooey marshmallow fluff, stuff it between two graham crackers and then dip it in melted chocolate! Without a doubt, you’ll have everyone coming back for S’more! (see what I did there?) 😏
What you’ll need for these Easy Indoor S’mores:
Marshmallow Creme or Marshmallow Fluff
Graham Cracker Squares
Chocolate Chips- You can use dark chocolate or milk chocolate or make some of each!
Glass bowl for melting chocolate
Wax Paper
Sprinkles and Candy Eyes-These candy eyes are perfect for all your upcoming Halloween Treats
How to assemble your treats:
You are going to love this recipe assembly because it is SO easy!
First, pour the chocolate chips in a completely dry glass bowl. Now, open several packages of graham crackers.
Next, spread a thick layer of marshmallow creme on 1/2 of the crackers and then press a 2nd graham cracker on top of the marshmallow.
Lastly, you are ready to melt your chocolate and dip! To successfully microwave the chocolate, melt in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is silky smooth. While still warm, dip your first marshmallow stuffed cracker into the chocolate, covering 1/3 to 1/2 of the cracker.
After you’re done dipping, it’s time to decorate your S’more with sprinkles. If you’re a spooky season lover, the candy googly eyes are a must. I feel like they are a necessity (August through October). You can see below how adorable the marshmallow stuffed graham cracker is with the eyes!
These dry super cute, and would be absolutely perfect to make a head of time. They would be perfect for a birthday party, baby shower, school treats and more. I ate these about 24 hours later, and as long as they are stored at room temp and covered, the cracker still had great texture and they kept beautifully! See the pic below.
I hope you enjoy these Easy Indoor S’mores with marshmallow fluff. If you’re a chocolate lover, you might also like my heart shaped chocolate covered strawberry recipe too.
