Hi there! I’m Stacia Mikele, that’s pronounced (Stay-sha Mi-Kelle).

I am a 30 something creative that has been blogging, baking, and throwing elaborate birthday parties for the last decade or so. This is my creative corner for all things home, holiday, food and mama related.

If you know me in real life, you know my life has been anything but ordinary. I grew up in poverty, the middle child of 2 brothers with disabilities, but I’m not one to be easily defined by labels or titles. My up-bringing was in an uber conservative evangelical environment. Still, I’m forever grateful for the way I was raised, because it shaped the person I am today, but I’ve also deconstructed from that in many ways. I have lived all over the United States, via TX, CA, NJ, and currently Virginia. I am a single mom to two insanely brilliant and energetic boys. People often refer to me as an enigma, never perfectly fitting into a box. You might find me musing about health one moment, dessert the next, then politics followed by all things woo-woo!

I LOVE TO MAKE EVERYDAY MOMENTS MATTER.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the mundane. But I take every chance to dance to any song, laugh with passion, prepare the most elaborate meals as if it is my last, and then skip the laundry for a week. I love to travel, and have a bit of a wanderer’s spirit, but can also be a total homebody too. I want to share my passion and zest for life with you.
